Our Authorized Service Consultants  market a 100% natural bio-augmentation and bio-remediation product trademarked "Biostat".  It is unique in the marketplace in that the main components are harvested, not artificially cultured , and consist primarily of multiple strains of anaerobic, facultative and aerobic  bacteria.

This document is designed to acquaint the professional with the anaerobic vs. aerobic processes, and more specifically, the effect Biostat treatment has on both of these processes.

Anaerobic digestion is a fact of life in most organic wastewater pollution facilities.  Great efforts have been spent towards controlling water pollution in an attempt to suppress or eliminate skepticism.  Largely associated with septic conditions, our products and services are used to control and or enhanced the anaerobic process, thereby creating an advantage to the wastewater treatment industry.  The facultative nature of Biostat also means an enhancement of aerobic digestion, creating an advantage to our clients in that they require only our Biostat product line to enhance both sides of the decomposition process.  Unlike chemical degreasers, the use of Biostat in the collection system will not upset the biological balance at the treatment plant.  The process is simple, passive, and cost-effective, especially in wet wells and  the  maintenance of the collection system components.

Biostat meets the Canadian Safe Products Use Approval, classified as containing no hazardous materials and containing only organic biodegradable compounds.

BIOSTAT  SEEDING FORMULAS

Biostat Bio Catalytic Seeding Formulas have been manufactured and sold in the global market for the past fifteen years.  It is a chemical-free, organic composition of enzymes, harvested microbes, and synergized catalysts which has been used for rapid decomposition of all types of organic matter.  A variety of industries have benefited from the use of "Biostat" including pulp and paper, food processing, agriculture, and industrial /municipal waste treatment.

There are many valuable by-products obtained during and after treatment using our products.  A few of the most important benefits are:

* Reduction of Carbon Dioxide gas ( which is a major  contributor to global warming ) to as low as 10% of total gas production.

* Significantly reduces Hydrogen Sulfide gas formation which is  a primary component of acid rain, noxious sewage odors, and is a major contributor to stone and masonry building corrosion.

* Sludges and remaining digested residues, after using our formulas, become micro-nutrients (containing up to a 1.0% to 1.5%  nitrogen value) making them an excellent source of natural nitrogen.

* Increases organic loading capabilities in waste treatment facilities by accelerating microbial activity, thereby  reducing the solids more efficiently.

 * Stabilize the liquids pH to 6.2 to 7.8

* Increase the dissolved oxygen in the wastewater effluent
