BIOLOGICAL - REMEDIATION: WASTE WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES, AEROBIC DIGESTERS AND/OR COLLECTION SYSTEM
When a wastewater collection system and it's wastewater treatment systems proper are treated with Biostat bacteria, there are reductions in the electrical usage, total sludge volume, odor and maintenance. This "Cost Avoidance" easily pays for the managed biological program. Biostat is a site specific blend of harvested and/or naturally occurring anaerobic, facultative and aerobic bacterium with micro-nutrients, minerals, proteins, enzymes and co-enzyme acting to establish pathways. Some of the benefits accrued to the user of Biostat bacteria in the treatment of municipal, industrial and combined waste water facilities via biological and biochemical remediation are: * The aerobic digesters aeration systems are off line 95% of the time. * The sludge within the collection and digesters systems will be remediated to a min of 50%, which reduces the final effluent sludge, handling & transportation costs, landfill tipping fees and manpower, etc. * Reduced and or control organic sludge by up to 50% that normally goes to a Dissolved Aeration Floatation (DAF) unit. * Reduced and or control organic sludge by up to 50 % that normally goes to a belt press. * Reduced and or control organic sludge by up to 50 % that normally goes to composting * Reduced and or control organic sludge by up to 50 % vectored to receiving soils * A collection system that is cleaned non-intrusively with bacteria will reduce overall maintenance and parts requirements (as for historical parts usage and inventory) for the system by 40% (flapper valve replacement reduced by up to 50+ %) * Chemical costs will be reduced by up to 50% – chlorine, de-chlor, solvents, degreasers, cleaners, deodorizers, etc. * Fats, oils and greases will be reduced and/or controlled in lift stations & collection lines. The fats, oils, and greases should not reach the treatment plant as a solid. * Odors, as ammonia, H2S, sewer gasses are reduced and/or controlled in the collection system and treatment plant. Hydrogen sulfide is reduced by up to 95% in the collection system, this controls and reduces its corrosive damage to the entire the system. * Floats, physical cleaners and screens are biologically cleaned of fats, oils and grease, therefore; reducing maintenance and emergence call. Etc. * Pump head pressure is reduced by up to 25 to 50%. * Stagnation of water within the collection lines is reduced dramatically. * Plants using drying beds: the sludge to be dried will be reduced by up to 50% * The pH throughout the collection system will be controlled through natural biochemical adjustment. * Biostat used in the collection system will cause an increase in the dissolved oxygen in the WWTP influent. There will also be a reduction in the use of chlorine and the de-chlor. Biostat used in a WWTP collection system will effectively increases the facilities BOD loading potential without increasing the infrastructure. The biochemical action will also assist in the bio-cleansing action of the infrastructure. Biostat biological remediation programs also aid in the upgrades and/or future designs of waste water treatment plants, waste handling facilities and landfills. GREENWAVE BIOTECH, INC. E.
